THIS CLASS CANCELLED DUE TO LOW ENROLLMENT(face-to-face instruction)

This is a face-to-face hybrid class. The core content for the VDOT exam will be presented in class. The test is an online VDOT Materials Certification Exam within Canvas which will be administered after class instruction. Students will go through the additional course content (not necessary for the exam) in Canvas as a self-study. Please note that this class is not structured to serve as a training class for those new to the industry or new in their role.

Introduction to equipment, materials, construction, placement procedures, specifications, and calculations. Intended audience is field personnel that have an impact on the quality of surface treatment application. Class is suggested for Roller Operators, Paver Operators, Crew Foremen, Superintendents, Density Technicians, Construction Inspectors, Senior Construction Inspectors, Consultant Construction Inspectors, Senior Consultant Construction Inspectors and Materials IA & QA personnel and Permit Inspectors. CALCULATOR REQUIRED. Exam required for certification. No proficiency required.
